Latvia Visa Requirements

BUSINESS VISA

  1. Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum three months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
  2. Passports issued beyond 10 yrs will not be accepted by the Embassy.
  3. Attach all your old passports (if any)
  4. Schengen Visa Application Form : One visa application form duly filled and signed on column 37 and 38.
  5. Please note : Applicant mobile number should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy / Consulate can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing
  6. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
  7. Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
  8. Covering-Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of the visit and addressed to duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Latvia , New Delhi
  9. Invitation Letter: Original Invitation Letter from Latvia host / inviting Company has to contact the "Citizenship and Immigration Department and has to fill up an Application form which should be approved by the Immigration Authorities & Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Mandatory)
    1. Financials: Company’s and Personal ITR for the last 3 yrs
    2. Salary slip for the last six months
    3. Company and Personal Bank Statement for last six months mentioning the applicant’s name and address.
    4. Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque
    1. Proof Of Occupation : Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation
    2. Brief Company Profile
    3. Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)
    4. Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)
    5. Import / Export License (if applicable)
  11. Proof of Accommodation: Hotel confirmation for the entire period of stay in Schengen area.
  12. Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Latvia
  13. Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary
  14. Medical : Original Medical travel Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros

TOURIST VISA

    4. Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque
    1. Proof of Occupation : Self Employed: Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation
    2. Brief Company Profile
    3. Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)
    4. Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)
    5. Import / Export License (if applicable)
  10. Employed:Proof of employment like Salary Slip or Appointment Letter / NOC from Employer
  11. Student: Leave Sanction Letter from school
  12. Parents have to provide ITR, Bank statement and Noc letter
  13. Proof of Accommodation : Hotel confirmation for the entire period of stay in Schengen area.
  14. Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Latvia
  15. Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary
  16. Medical : Original Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros
  17. Note: Personal appearance is Mandatory for first time travellers.
  18. Applicant himself has to take an appointment from the Embassy in case, of tourist, business and long term category.
